Opportunities at Social Care World
Social Care World (SCW) is a service of
planned-social-care (PSC) co-operation aimed at the persons
across the developing countries of Africa and south-east
Asia who are in need of care to improve their lives.
We have a strong purpose to
• provide relief from social and
economic disadvantage
• lend the modern practices of social
care
• build the capacity of the people
in order to develop their own skills.
Roles often focus on sharing knowledge
and experience on theory and practice of delivering PSC
work (both formal and informal).
SCW operates by the use of specially
selected group of persons (*Change Advisors
- CA) volunteering for social and economic rehabilitation
programmes. A CA in the course of his or her placement may
be involved in developing social care operational manual
for a community, voluntary or statutory organisation.
Do
you not know
that the national population statistics
of the countries of Europe, the UK and the USA
indicate exponential growth since the early 1990s
of persons born in these countries whose parents
have come from the outside. This group of persons
are diverse in age and in all disciplines of education
and work but, many have not being sojourner at
their roots.
